    Wanda is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and with more than 30 years of experience in Texas and Puerto Rico. She is experienced in working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and the elderly. She is also experienced in working in different settings, such as public school, university, mental health center, emergency room, prison, outreach crisis team and private practice. Wanda is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Psychological First Aid, Counseling in access to lethal means and Motivational Interview. Certified in Trauma Focused-CBT, Certified Grief Informed professional, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist- Individual.

    Wanda earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Inter American University of Puerto Rico. Her clinical internship was in a correctional complex treating people with dual diagnosis. She has extensive experience treating children, adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and crisis management.

    Wanda provides a safe and confidential environment where you can openly communicate your innermost concerns without judgment. She will also help you get a better understanding of your concerns and assist you in learning how to process them in healthy ways.

    Wanda lives in Buda, Texas with her husband and her dog Nani. She likes to do outside activities and spend time with her family.
